The 10-year journey of US-Bangla Airlines witnessed a milestone in air transport in Bangladesh on Sunday (March 31). Because, on this day Bangladesh Aviation conducted a test flight of new 436-seat large Airbus 330-300 aircraft added to US-Bangla Airlines.
Civil Aviation Authority and 210 officials and employees of US-Bangla Airlines departed from Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to Chattogram's Hazrat Shah Amanat International Airport at 4 pm and again left Chattogram at 5:55 pm for Dhaka. The fast Airbus takes only 30 minutes to travel from Dhaka to Chattogram.
While landing in Chattogram and Dhaka, the passengers on board applauded the cockpit crew.
US-Bangla plans to operate the Dhaka-Dubai, Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur route soon with Airbus 330-300 aircraft.
Apart from this, it is planning to operate a US-Bangla flight with Airbus 330-300 on Dhaka to Jeddah route as soon as possible.
Another Airbus 330-300 aircraft is going to be added to the US-Bangla fleet within the next two months. Currently, the US-Bangla fleet has a total of 23 aircrafts.
