Intercity Brahmaputra Express train derailed at Fatema Nagar railway station in Trishal, Mymensingh. Train movement on Dhaka-Mymensingh line has been stopped due to this incident.
The accident took place at Fatema Nagar railway station of Dhaka Mymensingh railway line at 9:40 pm on Friday (October 11).
Fatema Nagar Railway Station Master Alamgir Hossain confirmed the incident that the Dewanganj-bound inter-city Brahmaputra Express train from Dhaka has derailed. Due to this incident, train movement on Dhaka-Mymensingh line has been temporarily stopped.
Md. Alamgir Hossain also said that in a short while the train will leave for Mymensingh with the back three coaches including the derailed coach. The rescue train is coming soon the train movement will be normal.
