BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the interim government should be given reasonable time to complete the reforms, show tolerance, and resolve all problems through discussions.

He made these comments while speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the Shaheed Zia Memorial Tournament at Barabari in Lalmonirhat on Tuesday (November 11) afternoon.

Mirza Fakhrul said that care should be taken that no controversial person is given the role of adviser in the current government. We also have to be tolerant so that all the reforms in the country can be completed in a beautiful and orderly manner. After such a revolution in the country, all levels collapsed.

He also said that the fascist Awami League government had brought every sector to the brink of destruction through corruption and irregularities. Therefore, reforms are not possible quickly. If a reasonable time is given, the reforms will be complete.

The football team of Rangpur Division's 8 districts and Rangpur Metropolitan, Saidpur Political District BNP is participating in the tournament.

The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Lalmonirhat District BNP President and Central Organizing Secretary Asadul Habib Dulu.
