Farhad Mazhar, has called for the release of spokesperson of the Bangladesh Sammilita Sanatani Jagran Jote Chinmoy Krishna Das to end to 'suicidal communal' politics.
At the same time, he has called for the protection of the civil and human rights of all people of Bangladesh, regardless of religion or ethnicity, including followers of Sanatan Dharma.
He made this call on his own Facebook wall on Tuesday (November 26).
In his Facebook message, he said that Hindu means Delhi's broker, BJP's agent, Hindutva, avoid such hateful communal tagging. He also said that international geopolitical reality is not in favor of Bangladesh, but against it. It cannot be dealt with with thick heads and conspiracy theories. Avoid stupidity.
He also urged people to be careful about those who explain politics through conspiracy theories and are constantly spreading rumors to mislead the public.
It is worth noting that after the fall of the Awami League government on August 5, Chinmoy Krishna Das had been speaking as the spokesperson of the Sanatani community on eight-point demands in protest against attacks on minorities across the country.
After a public meeting at Laldighi ground in Chattogram on October 25, a sedition case was filed against 19 people at the Chattogram Kotwali Police Station on October 30, in which Chinmoy Das was also made an accused.
