Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has seized 40,000 pieces of Yaba tablets in Cumilla. The market value of which is Tk. 1 crore 20 lakh.
On Wednesday (November 27), around 6 pm, these ownerless Yaba tablets were seized in a drive in the Suryanagar area of the Cumilla border.

The release said that on Wednesday evening, a special patrol team of the Bowara Bazar BOP under the 10th BGB conducted an anti-drug and anti-smuggling operation. During the operation, the drug dealers fled after sensing the presence of the BGB at a place called Suryanagar, 200 yards inside Bangladesh from the border pillar 2085/2-S.
