Akhtar Hossain, member secretary of the National Citizens Committee, said that a new political party is coming under the leadership of the masses and the youth.
He said this in response to questions from journalists after a program to distribute winter clothes among the needy at the Dewati High School ground in Pirgachha, Rangpur on Monday (December 23) afternoon.
Akhtar Hossain said, our political party will be a political party led entirely by the masses and the youth. We have been fighting against fascism for a long time. The youth of Bangladesh did not hesitate to give their lives in the July-August movement. The people of Bangladesh have created a place for trust in these youth. In that context, a new political force is going to emerge.
He also said, I do not think that there is any fault in the power of the youth in any way, with the cooperation or support of any government, interim government or in any other way because the people of Bangladesh are spontaneously coming with us and participating. We do not think that one or two ministers or advisers can form a party and we are not candidates for that mercy.
Stating that resistance against Indian aggression is ongoing and will continue, the member secretary of the National Citizens' Committee said, "We will enter the field if necessary. What is needed now is the government's strong action and protest against Indian propaganda and aggression. Informing international parties and conducting a strong campaign against Indian media propaganda and aggression on social media at home and abroad. We call on the students and the public to ensure that."
At that time, Rangpur Citizens' Committee organizers Alamgir Nayan, Md. Ariful Islam, I. Suman, Khandaker Mainul Islam Mim, along with district metropolitan and divisional organizers were present.
