Dhaka University administration has been accused of taking photographs of dirt in a clean place to initiate the 'Clean Campus Week'.
The allegation made after the inauguration of a week-long cleaning program to prevent dengue fever at TSC area of Dhaka University premises on Monday.
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the program along with high ups of the university administration around 11am.
Sources informed Barta24.com that university’s cleaning workers dumped dirt on a clean place just before the opening of the 'Clean Campus Week'.
A cleaning worker seeking anonymity told Barta24.com that they have acted as per direction by administration authority.
“Dirt brought here before the event and we will clean all after the ending of inauguration,” the cleaning worker said.
However, Dhaka University VC didn’t make any comments over the allegations after being questioned by reporters.
