Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has said that the August 15 killings proved that the BNP was the dependable address of the killers.
He made the remarks while addressing a discussion meeting and prayer gathering on the occasion of National Mourning Day-2021 at the premises of Nagar Bhaban on Sunday (August 15) afternoon.
The bridges minister said that a party called BNP suffers from internal burning when the month of August comes. The BNP will not be able to cover up this cruel truth even after hundreds of attempts on August 15, rehabilitation of murderers and inclusion of Mustaq's indemnity ordinance in the constitution. This has proved that the BNP is the dependable address of the killers of the August 15 killings.
Obaidul Quader said that the BNP has proved that the killers of August 15 are the address of the BNP. With the help of the grenade attack on August 21, the BNP has proved the address of the confidence of communal forces.
He said that even though the statesmen of that country were killed in different countries of the world, there were no more barbaric and ruthless killings like on August 15. Innocent children, pregnant women were not killed. The BNP has lifted the inviolable wall between the political leaders of this country through the bloody assassination of 15 August.
