BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Friday said party’s chairperson Khaleda Zia is doing well.
“I went to visit madam on Thursday. By the infinite mercy of Allah, she is now well. Everyone will pray that she will recover quickly and come back to us and be free,” he said.
The BNP leader came up with the remarks at a function at the National Press Club in the morning.
The event was organized on the occasion of unveiling the cover of Advocate Taimur Alam Khandaker's book ‘Jatiswattar Antarale Bishakto Nishash (Toxic Breath Behind Nationalism).
Mirza Fakhrul thanked Advocate Taimur Alam Khandaker for writing the book with courage and said, “Many of us cannot write.”
He said that the AL government is illegal and they are not elected by the people. They are sitting in power by cheating the people.
