The Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) has made it clear that it will not participate in the upcoming national election.
Former CPB president Mujahidul Islam Salim announced this decision in a rally at Mukti Bhaban on Friday (November 24) afternoon.
He said, CPB wants elections but does not want a farce, fake election in the name of election. So CPB will not participate in such elections. Instead, he urged the people to resist this election.
Mujahidul Islam Salim said that neutral elections are not possible under the party government and other parties can compromise with Awami League. But CPB will not compromise.
