Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has commented that there are many national and international conspiracies regarding the upcoming 12th Jatiya Sangsad(JS)election.
On Thursday (28 December) afternoon, she said these words by joining the public meeting at six districts on the occasion of the 12th JS election from Dhaka district Awami League building in Tejgaon of the capital.
Sheikh Hasina said, Awami League does not believe that elections are not participatory without the BNP.
She called on the party leaders and workers to maintain the electoral environment.
She said that after 75, Ziaur Rahman introduced the culture of taking away people's rights to legitimize illegal power. Then the country continued in the opposite direction of the liberation war with the anti-independence movement.
She also said, 'BNP came to power by plotting to sell gas and played with people's fate. BNP is doing anti-election work. Killing mother and child like this cannot be tolerated. They are always in the rhythm of disrupting elections. But without an elected government, it is not possible to change the fate of the people of the country. That is the reality.
Sheikh Hasina also said that because people voted and supported Awami League from 2014 to 2018, it was possible to develop the country.
The head of government said, "By voting for the Boat symbol, make Awami League victorious and continue the trend of prosperous life so that the country can be moved forward." All the candidates will read the election manifesto of the party and seek votes accordingly. There are many conspiracies about this election. The work of BNP-Jamaat is to burn people and destroys election.
Sheikh Hasina said, 'Elections will become participatory only with the participation of voters. Those terrorist groups do not believe in elections. They will not do any good in the country. That's why I allowed open elections. Maintain a peaceful environment. Everyone will accept whoever the people want.
It should be noted that before this, Awami League President Sheikh Hasina gave an important speech by participating in the election public meeting in 5 districts on 21 December and 6 districts on 23 December.
