General Secretary of Awami League, Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said that the month of Ramadan is the month of moderation. Even this month, BNP leaders are talking about continuing the political program. BNP has stood against the religious values and sentiments of the people by announcing to continue the program in the month of Ramadan.
Obaidul Quader said these things in a statement on Tuesday (March 12).
He said, this program of BNP will cause public suffering even during Ramadan. They do not want to let the people of the country rest in any way. As we have already said, BNP will be further divided by the program announced during Ramadan. They have been trying to destroy the country's constitutional and democratic system in the name of their so-called anti-government movement for more than a century. But the people never responded to their call. Rather, they have been repeatedly rejected by the public. As a result, BNP has failed to show any form of mass participation through the so-called movement. BNP has always been doing politics from an anti-people position. Therefore, it is never possible for the BNP to build a mass movement.
In the statement, Awami League General Secretary said, BNP leaders and workers are indirectly talking about imprisonment; they cannot move easily. But they are regularly lying against the government, warning the government loudly. In fact, the leaders and workers of BNP are trapped in the sand of mistakes, trapped in the frame of wrong politics. They are imprisoned under the leadership of the murderer-corrupt, money launderer Tariq Rahman. They will not be freed from this imprisonment unless their conscience is awakened. Due to the illusion of being in captivity, they are trying to blame the government for their captivity.
He said that the Awami League government under the leadership of leader Sheikh Hasina is working for the welfare of the people. The government is working hard to ensure that people do not suffer during the month of Ramadan. Bangladesh Awami League has always been and will always be with the people.
