BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has been admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital due to her deteriorating physical condition. She will be kept in CCU for treatment and tests.
She was taken to Evercare Hospital in the capital around 3 pm on Saturday night (March 30).
Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP Chairperson's media wing said, Madam reached the hospital at 3 pm. Her treatment has started.
Shamsuddin Didar, another member of the Chairperson's media wing, said that the madam was taken to the emergency room on arrival at the hospital.
According to several sources present at the hospital, Khaleda Zia was taken directly to the CCU after reaching the hospital. Doctors have decided to keep her in CCU due to complications of her old disease liver cirrhosis.
