Acting Chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman commented that there is no alternative to be united to fulfill people's expectations.

He said that along with the political emancipation of the country, the economic emancipation of the people must also be found. If we can move the nation forward unitedly, then we will succeed in achieving liberation in all aspects including economic.

Tariq Rahman said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the view exchange meeting organized by Belkuchi, Chauhali and Enayetpur Thana BNP at Enayetpur Islamia High School grounds in Sirajganj on Saturday (September 21) afternoon.

He said, "We have done away with dictatorship, few goals have been achieved." There is still a long way to go. If that path can be passed, people's right to vote will also be guaranteed.

He further said, until we can bring all the crops home, starting from the economic liberation of our people, we have to continue our movement. We are united today to pay tribute to those who gave their lives. Every people of Bangladesh is looking up to you, so every leader and worker of the party should prepare accordingly.

Tariq Rahman said that under no circumstances will the blood of martyrs in the anti-discrimination student mass movement be allowed to go in vain, people's freedom of expression, right to vote must be ensured and fundamental rights must be established.

Calling on the leaders and activists to be patient, he said that everyone should be united and stand by the people. So that people can trust us. Under no circumstances can the law be taken into hand, strict action will be taken against anyone who takes the law into hand.

BNP Central Committee Rajshahi Divisional Co-Organizer Amirul Islam Khan Alim presided over the meeting organized jointly by Belkuchi and Chauhali Upazila and Enayetpur Thana BNP. BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, District BNP President Former MP Rumana Mahmud, General Secretary Saidur Rahman Bachchu and Chief Advisor Dr MA Muhith were present in the meeting.
