Dhaka: Jatiya Party has temporarily postponed the rally and protest march program to be held at the Jatiya Party central office, Kakrail.
The party informed the media about the matter in a message sent to the media on Friday. It also said that the Jatiya Party has taken this decision with respect to the law as the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ordinance, under the power of Section 29 (meeting place), has banned any kind of meeting, rally, procession, demonstration, etc. in the surrounding areas including Building No. 66, Pioneer Road, Kakrail. The next program will be officially announced by the Jatiya Party later on.
