Mosquito-killing medicine is not working as government imported ineffective insecticide it through corruption, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
Speaking at a discussion, he further said, “Newspapers have reported that they’re now going to import two types of mosquito-killing medicine that were completely banned in Thailand. They also don’t know about the effectiveness of those medicines.”
He also compared the rule of the current government with that of oppressive fictional monarch in Satyajit Ray’s satirical film 'Hirak Rajar Deshe' who ran his empire by the dictates of his whims. “Even, this regime is worse than that of 'Hirak Rajar Deshe’.
