Chairman of the Jatiya Party and Deputy Leader of the Opposition GM Quader has said the list of Razakars that the government has prepared will be beneficial for the people if it is correct.
He made the observation after placing a wreath at the National Memorial at Savar on the outskirts of the capital on Monday (Dec 16), marking the 49th Victory Day.
The Jatiya Party chief suggested updating the list through further scrutiny in future to make it flawless.
He underscored the need for reaching the benefit of the independence to everyone in the country.
“We want the country to be free from terrorism, corruption, unemployment and drugs. We want to reach the benefit of independence to everyone,” he said.
Quader expressed the hope that there will no unemployment and people will live in peace in the country in future.
He said Bangladesh is advancing on the path of democracy. “Democracy is such a thing that cannot be attainted completely. However, we have to keep trying to attain as much as we can.”
