Seven out of nineteen presidium members, the top policy making body of Bangladesh Awami League were elected on Saturday in the 21st national council of the ruling party.
The elected presidium members are Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina (ex-officio), Sheikh Selim, Col(rtd) Farooq Khan, Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury, Kazi Zafrullah, newly inducted Abdur Rahman and Shajahan khan.
