Actress Sarah Begum Kabari Passed away. She died on the 13th days after being infected by Corona (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun).

She breathed her last at 12:20 pm on Friday (April 16) at Sheikh Russell Gastroliver Hospital in the capital. He was 70 years old at the time of her death.

After suffering from whooping cough and fever, Sarah Begum Kabari tested the corona sample. She got the result of the test in the afternoon of April 5, when she learnt that she was positive. She was admitted to Kurmitola General Hospital in Dhaka that night. On the night of April 7, doctors advised her to be taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as her condition deteriorated. Finally, at noon of April 8, the ICU was found at Sheikh Russell Gastroliver Hospital where she was shifted. She was taken to life support on Thursday afternoon.

In 1964, Sarah Begum Kabari (Meena Paul), a well-known actress, made her film debut in the movie 'Sutarang' directed by Subhash Dutt. After that, she gave away many timeless movies including 'Bahana', 'Titas Ekti Nodir Nam,’ 'Rangbaj', 'Sareng Bou', 'Sujan Sakhi'.

Besides acting, the actress has also produced movies. She was also a director. After 14 long years, she started making her second movie. She has directed the film 'Ei Tumi Sei Tumi' as well as written its story, screenplay and dialogues. The first movie she directed was 'Aina'.

Besides acting and producing, Kabari also used to write. His autobiography 'Smritituku Thak' was published in 2017. She was also MP of Jatiyo Sangsad  from Narayanganj constituency.
