The new season of popular drama series 'Family Crisis' of Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz is coming. It is called 'Family Crisis (Reloaded)'. Popular singer Nancy sings for this series. She is very happy with the new song titled 'Kokhono Alo Kokhono Adhar'.

In 2011, Nancy sang for drama series 'Chader Nijer Kono Alo Nei' directed by Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz. Nancy’s feeling about the new song, ‘I will sing for Raz series after so many years. I got self-satisfaction by singing the new song. Its words and melody are like touching the heart. Listeners can easily like the song.'

Johny Hoque wrote the lyrics "Kokhono Alo Kokhono Adhar". The melody and music created by Naved Parvez. The recording of the song was completed yesterday (29 November) night at the Crown Entertainment Studio in Niketan, Dhaka.

Commenting on the song for the new series, Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz said, "I am overwhelmed by the response of the audience for Family Crisis. I am going to start a new season with that enthusiasm. There was no title song in the previous season. But this time a song was needed according to the plot of the story. Immediately after composing the melody, it seemed that Nancy's voice would be appropriate. There is nothing new to say about her singing. She sang the new song very well. It's good to hear it once. Our efforts will be successful if the listeners like the song. The lyrical video of this song will soon be available on Cinemawala Music on YouTube. '

Naved Parvez

Composer and music director Naved Parvez is now in USA. In his words, ‘I am working regularly with Raz Bhai. When he was given the responsibility of composing this song, he said that it was necessary to compose a melody that could easily touch the minds of the listeners. I hope listeners will love this song. Nancy voice is mesmerizing.'

Lyricist Johny Hoque said, "Director-Producer Raz wants to express the joys and sorrows, laughter and tears of a middle class family in the same song. That's how I wrote it. Naved Parvez has created a touching melody. It is complete thanks to Nancys melodious singing.'

According to Raz, the shooting of 'Family Crisis (Reloaded)' will start from December 9 this year in Uttara, Dhaka. The drama will be seen on a private TV channel. In addition, each episode will be on the Cinemawala channel on YouTube.

Body of actress Shimu recovered

The body of actress Raima Islam Shimu (45) has been recovered in a packed condition. Her body was recovered and kept in the morgue of Sir Salimullah Medical College (Mitford) Hospital in Dhaka.

On Monday (January 17) morning, Keraniganj police recovered her packed body from near Hazratpur Bridge in Keraniganj.

Keraniganj Model Police Station Officer in Charge (OC)Md. Abu Salam Mia confirmed the information and said that the body of a woman named Raima Islam Shimu was recovered from Keraniganj around 10 am. He said her body was kept in the morgue of Mitford Hospital for autopsy.

Actress Sadia Mirza told the media that the police had informed that the body of heroine Shimu had been recovered. The cause of death was not immediately known.

Shimu made her silver screen debut in 1998 with Kazi Hayat's 'Bartaman'. She has acted in more than 50 plays one by one. Besides acting, the audience also got her on screen as a producer. Her film and drama career spanned more than two decades.

She was also active as a producer. Shimu had worked with many talented directors in Bangladesh. The list includes Chashi Nazrul Islam, Delwar Jahan Jhantu, AJ Rana, Sharifuddin Khan Dwipu, Enayet Karim, Shabnam Parveen.

She had acted with many talented and popular actors including Riaz, Amit Hasan, Bapparaj, Zahid Hasan, Mosharraf Karim, Shakib Khan.

Popular director-producer Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz released his new drama '50 Lakh' on 'Cinemawala Natok' youtube channel for the viewers at the beginning of the new year. Raz wrote and directed this drama himself.

Popular actor of new generation Mushfiq R. Farhan has played the main role in '50 Lakh'. The young man is a lawyer by profession. He involved relationship with a girl named Shumaiya. Actress of new generation Samira Khan Mahi potray the role of Shumaiya.


Regarding the new work, Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz said, 'The story of this drama is about 50 lakh Taka. The story revolves around a divorce. I do not want to say more than that. I released this drama for our loving viewers on Cinemawala Natok youtube channel yesterday.'

Mushfiq R. Farhan and Samira Khan Mahi said, "We got a great response by acting together in 'He She' under the direction of Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz. Now we get very good response for '50 Lakh' drama also.”

‘Mission Extreme’ in the audience gallery against Pakistan

Team 'Mission Extreme' appeared in the movie campaign for the ongoing Bangladesh-Pakistan T20I match on Saturday (November 20). Apart from watching the match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, the producers and crew took part in the promotion of the police action thriller movie. Actress Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, Sudip Biswas Deep and Dipu Imam took part with Sunny Sanwar, one of the directors of the movie.

They were seen in the audience gallery on the field encouraging the Bangladesh cricket team. Everyone had a poster of 'Mission Extreme'. At the same time, the commentator Shamim Chowdhury presented the details of the movie to the audience.

In this context, Sunny Sanwar said, "We are trying to spread the story about 'Mission Extreme'. That's why we are moving forward with some strategies. Everyone is watching the Bangladesh-Pakistan match today. That's why I didn't want to miss out this opportunity in the 'Mission Extreme' campaign. "

The desired trailer of the movie has already been released. The thrilling action and mysterious atmosphere of the breathtaking trailer is gaining the admiration of the viewers.

The production company has confirmed that the movie will be released simultaneously with Bangladesh on December 3 in about 8 countries of 4 continents. The police action thriller is co-directed by Faisal Ahmed and Sunny Ahmed. Its central character is Arefin Shuvo, the famous actor of 'Muscleman'. Also starring are 'Dhaka Attack' star Taskin Rahman, Miss World Bangladesh's Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, Sadia Nabila and Sumit Sengupta.

The movie 'Mission Extreme', which was dedicated to Cool, was inspired by some of the breathtaking operations of the Counter Terrorism Unit of the police and the CTTC of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police. The story and screenplay were written by Superintendent of Police Sunny Sanwar himself. The film is co-produced by Mime Multimedia and Dhaka Detective Club.

Workshop on CDST mobile film making held in Koyra

The Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival has hold a five-day CDST Filmmaking Workshop on  Munda Community in Koyra, Khulna which started on Sunday November 6, 2021. This mobile filmmaking workshop solely focused on climate change and its aftermath in Munda’s life. Total 8 participants from the Munda Community joined the workshop.

Global warming is real and rapid climate change is the effect of it. Participants have tried their best to cover different problem areas and how those create a long-term effect in the Munda community. In those diversified topics they talked about the salinity in water, health and safety, culture and language, job crisis that leads to displacement. Through their stories, they displayed the mundane life of Munda women, their concern for not providing enough nutrition to their family. River erosion is taking away their ancestral land and religion as well. 

The intensive mobile filmmaking workshop, the first of its kind in Koyra, provided the opportunity for participants from the Munda community to “understand and appreciate the process of telling their stories with a smart phone.” Besides that, through this workshop, they have gathered the basic knowledge of filmmaking, which will help them find their voice on a broader scale. At the closing event, each participant has showcased their films in front of the audience. And those films vividly displayed their everyday life- struggles for survival fighting against nature.

The Closing Ceremony of the ‘CDST Filmmaking Workshop with Munda Community, Koyra 2021’ was held on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 3:30 pm. ULAB’ MSJ Department Head Dr Jude William Genilo sent a Thank You speech to the participants, and so did the project researcher Angelos Theocharis from Durham University. The program started with a brief introduction to the research project and was followed by screening participants’ projects. Local school teachers, social workers, journalists and renowned public figures also grace the event. 

The “Community Digital Storytelling and Delta Futures in India, Bangladesh and Vietnam” project is funded by the UKRI GCRF Living Deltas Hub and the Institute of Hazard, Risk and Resilience (IHRR) at Durham University. The workshop was conducted in collaboration with the Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival (DIMFF), the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and the Initiative for Coastal Development (ICD). From DIMFF, advisor Dr Abdul Kabil Khan and executive advisor Syeda Sadia Mehjabin were the facilitators and DIMFF’s advisor Mohammad Shazzad Hossain was the coordinator of the workshop. From ICD, Asikuzzaman Asik acted as the coordinator from the local side.
