Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of reviving bilateral relations through enhanced cooperation in various fields, a statement issued by the press wing of Pakistan's Prime Minister's Office said. At this time, he expressed a deep desire to increase commercial relations, cultural exchange and people-to-people contact with Pakistan and Bangladesh.
In the phone conversation, both the leaders agreed that there is a need to work closely for the progress and prosperity of the people of Pakistan and Bangladesh. They also agreed that greater regional cooperation can play an important role in improving the lives of the people of South Asia.
