Many students are frustrated by the failure of such psychological battles at the beginning of their education. Bringing the light of life by eight annas

A book fair is a bright field for developing the interest of students in reading books as well as other books and for the full development of the culture. Through the book fair, a close bond is formed between the student and the book, which has been successfully implemented through the organization of the book fair for the first time in Faridpur district through an exceptionally innovative program titled "Buying the light of life in eight annas". This book fair is being organized with only 50 paisa (eight annas) per month from every student studying in Faridpur from their accumulated Tiffin money. Through this exceptional program, students are able to feel that it is possible to organize a book fair for a small fee. In fact, by adding more money collected locally to the money collected from the students, it has been planned to provide it as a scholarship among the poor and meritorious students. In addition, initiatives have been taken to honor the best educational institutions and the best teachers. Among the services provided to the public by the district administration for the implementation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's 'Digital Bangladesh: Vision 2021' are a number of services such as issuing leaflets from record rooms, renewal of all types of dealing licenses, official communication, e-mutation. Instead being provided through digital management. From the beginning of the Corona attack, all the activities of the district administration including seminars, discussion meetings, various monthly meetings, public hearings were carried out using the online platform with the aim of continuing the official activities in the Corona epidemic.

Faridpur Virtual School

Immediately after the outbreak of Corona in the first few districts of Bangladesh, when all educational institutions were closed in Faridpur, a virtual meeting was held with the teachers on an emergency basis and the decision was taken to open an online based school in Faridpur with the encouragement of the Deputy Commissioner. The school was named "Faridpur Virtual School" and in Bengali "Amar Ghare Amar School". The activities of this school have had a huge impact everywhere from primary to higher secondary. All the experienced teachers of the respective educational institutes prepare the thematic syllabus and take as many classes as required to complete a syllabus directly online and a website has been opened for those who cannot watch the videos of the teachers directly and the videos have been uploaded on that website. Videos have also been saved by opening a YouTube channel so that students can watch the videos at their convenience. In addition, videos of teachers teaching are being broadcast on local dish channels, meaning that all students who do not have access to the Internet can at least participate in the classes taken by the teachers through television and receive the necessary education from there. In villages where this service is not available, teachers from different schools are visiting their students' homes periodically and teaching them in groups at any one place / home while maintaining social distance and supervising the lessons regularly. As a result, educational activities in Faridpur are largely normal. Adopted in April-May, the Faridpur program quickly gained popularity and later spread to various districts and upazilas.

Entrepreneur Fair and Employment

When many people become jobless due to the impact of the global disaster, the local educated youth get involved in various activities for the welfare of Digital Bangladesh. They produce local products using local technology and market them online. As soon as the matter came to the notice of the undersigned, he was in two groups with about four hundred entrepreneurs

Meet and arrange for them to provide all kinds of assistance, necessary training and loans. This gives a glimmer of hope to the entrepreneurs and they become determined to accelerate their small endeavors. In this case, Corona has been a blessing for many. He who was once jobless is now creating jobs and creating jobs for others.

Open public hearing

Almost every deputy commissioner's office sometimes has a public hearing every Wednesday in the deputy commissioner's room or conference room. Faridpur was no exception. But in order for the people who come to the office of the Deputy Commissioner to go beyond the formalities of the undersigned to open their minds to the undersigned without any hindrance, they are organizing open public hearings every Wednesday outside the regular public hearings. The concerned officials are being instructed to take necessary action on the matter which cannot be disposed of immediately. "Administration will be at the doorstep of the people" For the successful implementation of this directive of the Hon'ble Prime Minister, the lower signatories are often participating in such open public hearings at the upazila and union level along with various departmental level officials. Due to this, a kind of spiritual relationship has been formed between the local people and the district administration throughout Faridpur; A place of trust has been created.

District Land Management Academy (DLMA)

There is no integrated training system anywhere in the country for the officers involved in land management including Union Land Assistant, Deputy Assistant, Surveyor, Kanungo, Assistant Commissioner (Land). Due to lack of proper academic and practical as well as hands-on training, there is a kind of stagnation among the officials involved in district level land management. In order to overcome this situation, an initiative has been taken to set up a training center called "District Land Management Academy" on 05.00 acres of land in Sadarpur upazila of the district for training of officers / employees involved in land management. In this case, the government will not need too much money at the initial stage. The academy is being set up by planting trees, creating gardens and constructing training rooms on the land of local Khas Khatian No. 01. Under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner, at least 2 times a year weekly camps will be organized for the officers / employees involved in land management. This will increase the work ethic among the concerned employees on the one hand and further improve the overall land management through mutual interaction on the other hand. A letter has already been sent to the land ministry for approval.

Construction of Mujib barsho Park and Bangabandhu and Liberation War Library

In every upazila of Faridpur district in which the memory of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the greatest father of the Bengali nation of all time, is enshrined in Mujibvarsha, it has been decided to build a spectacular park called Mujibvarsha Park in its own place or around the Upazila Parishad which is already nearing completion. As a result, the service seekers coming to the Upazila Parishad will get the opportunity to enjoy the services of the concerned government department as well as a beautiful environment.

Similarly, in the 61 Union Parishads of the district, an initiative has been taken to set up a two-room library called "Bangabandhu and Liberation War Public Library" in any unused room or in place of the Union Parishad with its own funds. By doing so, local students and knowledge-thirsty people will be able to easily know the real history of the liberation war, Bangabandhu and Bangladesh. This activity has already been completed in 08 unions. This special initiative will further pave the way for the development of healthy cultural activities at the village and union level and will be able to play an important role in preventing drugs, terrorism and bigotry.

Team Faridpur, led by Deputy Commissioner Atul Sarkar, is working round the clock with the aim of making all the efforts of the Hon'ble Prime Minister to make the dream of the Father of the Nation a golden Bengal a reality. Probably similar development has started in other districts of Bangladesh. But all the exceptional and innovative steps taken and implemented by the Deputy Commissioner Atul Sarkar in just one year deserve unique praise in any trial. It is the expectation of all that the employees of the Republic will serve the people and the state with their honesty, courage and justice. Best wishes to Deputy Commissioner Atul Sarkar and his team "Team Faridpur".

Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said in the definition of 'relative' in the upazila elections, 'What is the family formula - one's son, daughter and wife! There is no family outside of this! We want the election to be free of influence! People can vote freely!

The Prime Minister said all this in response to a question at a press conference after her visit to Thailand at the Prime Minister's official residence, Ganabhaban, on Thursday (May 2) at 11:30 am.

The Prime Minister said that many of the families of Awami League had already been elected in one place for a long time. The one who became an MP, may have been the union or upazila chairman's wife long before him. But it's right, in one place he gave his wife, in another place he gave his son, that's not right! Activists should also be evaluated. I will take everything myself, I will not keep anything for my leaders and workers, that is not possible!

She said, everyone is contesting in the election, it means making the election meaningful.

Referring to the boycott of some parties, Sheikh Hasina said that many political parties are boycotting the elections. Why reject! Because they are not able to choose. If you want to do 'Parliament Election', you have to show the people who will be the next leader or Prime Minister! If you don't have a suitable leader, then you have to find someone. I did not make an election, that's the reality! That is what is happening in our country! If the accused is shown to the people, the people will not accept it. If you want to do politics, you have to take risks!

The Awami League president said, "After '75, I was not allowed to come to the country. Rehana did not even get a passport! The war criminals who were tried by the Father of the Nation, the convicted convicts who were released and allowed to do politics, are the ministers, advisors, in power. Murderers in power! I returned to the country in that state. My life was in danger. I got hit again and again but I survived. This is the problem of many. Why did I survive after trying to kill so many times!

Commenting that there has been 'development' because Awami League has come to power, she added that Bengalis have been given the opportunity to stand tall or speak in the world. Earlier, when I heard the name, I used to say 'poor', 'beggar caste', whether I was able to get rid of that bad name or not, that is the big thing!

The Prime Minister said that elections are being held in many other countries. We will see how the people there vote. We will see that too. Our effort is to make the process more public and transparent!

We have constituted the Election Commission by making law for the first time. Financially it was dependent on the Prime Minister's Office. I made it autonomous from there. I have made a separate budget.
