Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called for adherence to health protection even after vaccination against coronavirus. Now we don't have any problem anymore, now everyone is showing great interest, they are eager to get vaccinated. We have bought 3 crore doses of vaccine. Besides, India has given 20 lakh doses, other countries also want to give, we will take all of them, because we want to vaccinate at the village level.

The Prime Minister said this while laying the foundation stone of Kumudini International Institute of Medical Sciences and Cancer Research through video conferencing from Ganobhaban on Sunday (February 14) morning.

The Prime Minister said, "It is very difficult for me to endure so much grief when I survived the loss of my family on August 15, 1975. Then I just thought that my father had fought for the nation all his life, endured prison torture, any of his life. Not wanted, not even my mother, who completely sacrificed her life for the people of the country. .My only goal is to change the destiny of the people of this country and improve their lives. That is why I am continuing to try as much as I can.

“We fell behind in many cases,” she said. In the medical field of Bangladesh, nurses had only diploma nursing, not graduation. The same people who ruled the country for 21 years after '75 have seized power illegally. Then power was an object of enjoyment for them, an object of their own destiny, they never thought of the welfare of the people of the country. This is the most unfortunate thing. We have made considerable efforts in this regard since we came to power.

"We encourage private entrepreneurs," she said. When the BNP-Jamaat came to power in 2001, one of their tasks was to cancel or suspend everything we did. There was just such a problem. However, after the Awami League came to power, those are happening again.

The Prime Minister said, "We are setting up universities, medical colleges and high quality hospitals in every district on public or private initiative." The doctor hired a nurse. We immediately hired 2,000 doctors and 7,000 nurses, technicians in seven days to deal with the coronavirus. I have taken steps to recruit more in the future. We have taken measures so that the people of our country get at least this treatment.

Addressing the people, the Prime Minister said, "Even after vaccination, everyone has to abide by health protection rules, wear a mask, wash their hands and stay clean." Those who are vaccinated should follow the health protection rules immediately. Then we hope this outbreak will be completely gone from our country.
