This time 60 thousand lucky people getting permission for Hajj
The importance of Hajj in Islam is immense. Regarding the importance of Hajj, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever performs Hajj for the sake of gaining the pleasure of Allah and does not engage in any indecent speech or sin, he should return from Hajj as innocent as a newborn child” (Bukhari and Muslim). .
However, in the terrible grip of the pandemic coronavirus, the whole world has been upset and all plans have been turned upside down. Despite their strong will, Muslims around the world are unable to perform the Hajj without a designated person due to the pandemic.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Hajj was performed in a limited way last year as well. Only people living in Saudi Arabia had the opportunity to perform the Hajj. No one from any country outside Saudi Arabia was allowed to perform Hajj.
Earlier this year, the Saudi Hajj Ministry said that only those between the ages of 18 and 65 who are not infected with a complex disease and have been vaccinated against coronavirus will be able to perform the Hajj.
Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will release the names of 60,000 people who will be allowed to perform the Hajj this year. This information has been reported in Arab News quoting the concerned ministry.
According to the report, 540,000 applications were received from local Saudis and expatriates living in the country in the electric portal scheduled for Hajj this year before the registration was closed last Wednesday. 60,000 people have been selected from them.
Our humble prayer to the Merciful Creator, may He forgive us and make the world corona-free, Amen.
