The number of deaths and infection is increasing by leaps and bounds. Every day, corona's paw is surpassing the previous day's statistics. Every day the hotspots of corona infection are increasing. Dangerous clock ticks are ticking in many places. The whole of Bangladesh seems to be in the vicious cycle of global pandemic of coronavirus.

The number of deaths in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours is 108 and so far the death toll stands at 13,976. 5,869 people have been newly identified. So far, a total of 8 lakh 78 thousand 804 people have been identified as infected officially.

Meanwhile, corona delta variety has spread to 85 countries around the world. The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that this variety will spread around the world in the coming days.

On June 22, WHO published a weekly report on this pandemic. According to the report, the Alpha form of the corona has been found in 170 countries. The Beta form has been found in 119 countries, the corona Gamma form in 71 countries and the Delta form in 85 countries.

On the eve of the re-emergence of the global pandemic, the fragile picture of the growing contagion in the border districts of Bangladesh has been seen for the last few days. After stopping for a few weeks, the corona was found to be positive in one hundred percent of the patients who came to sample somewhere in the upward corona. In Khulna, Rajshahi, Jhenaidah, Jashore the number of deaths and infections due to corona is increasing rapidly. High risk areas are increasing in the country. Women, men, the elderly and children are also affected.

Like the northern and western districts bordering, the danger of corona has also hit Sylhet and Chattogram in the east. As of June 14, 2,427 people have been identified as infected with corona in Chattogram. In the next 10 days, another 948 people were infected with corona. Concerned scared that in the next 6 days of this month the disease might jump upward.

Experts have already suggested a comprehensive lockdown across the country. The government has also announced a shutdown at any time. However, even in the midst of the extreme danger of corona, news of people's indifference is coming from various places. Many do not care about wearing masks and social distance, which can make the spread of corona omnipresent. Social transmission is also declining in isolated lockdowns.

The fear is that with the increasing number of deaths and infections, the pressure on the health sector is also increasing. There are cries going on in different places to get ICU beds. With the number of patients increasing rapidly, there is a fear of a crisis in the healthcare system. Uncertainty has also been created about how much the medical system will be able to handle the growing number of patients.

Meanwhile, there is a global tug-of-war over vaccines. While rich countries have almost completed vaccinations, developing countries are looking forward to the vaccine. Even with the money, the scheduled shipment of vaccines is not coming from the manufacturers. Don't be overwhelmed by the dark fears of an invisible 'shadow-vaccine-war'. 'Vaccine politics' and 'vaccine diplomacy' are going on, affecting billions of people in the world's poorest countries.

When Corona rises again at a rapid pace in a year and a half through ups and downs, there is no alternative to all-out preventive measures on the part of the public-private sector. It is now a matter of urgency to deal with the situation with various effective measures to deal with the rapid flow of corona without delay.
