Let's be a little surprised, a little surprised!

Because ethnically may be we have less surprise.

Sheikh Hasina returned to the country from abroad in 1981 at the age of 34. Then she was just 'Sheikh Hasina'. There was no identity like writing back and forth. The only identity was that she is the daughter of Bangabandhu, she is the daughter of the Father of the Nation of Bangladesh. But we killed the most loved man of the nation in 1975 with our family.

How can an orphan girl return to the country with infinite courage and confidence in the people of Bengal, can we imagine that?

The girl, who took the helm of a political party almost unguarded, took the challenging seat of the president, has kept the party in power for almost 18 years, imprisoned herself, and talked about the rights of the people of Bangladesh from the opposition in the Jatiyo Sangsad  for 10 years.

Our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been active in politics since her student days. She was imprisoned many times and under house arrest several times. She holds the record of being the Prime Minister of Bangladesh four times in full term. Bangladesh Awami League, the traditional political party in Asia, has been leading the country for more than three decades. Today is her 75th birthday.

Bangabandhu-daughter Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Many organizations around the world have awarded her many titles. I am at least proud to think that I got the Bangladesh of her time.

Due to the geo-political, social, religious and international context, taking power in politics in this country is not the last word. Maintaining political stability, maintaining power, protecting international relations, walking the path of development and working for the people is not an easy task. Hon'ble Prime Minister is at least doing that.

Be a little surprised to think that there is a girl in a country where there has been an attempt to kill her like her father. A rain of well-planned grenades fell on her. She is living by the will of the Creator. Yet the conspiracy against her did not stop, it did not stop.

But she is working. I will not go into the statistics of how much she led Bangladesh during her 4 times rule. However, Bangladesh today does not stand as the previous Bangladesh. Today, Bangladesh is a name of 'dignity' as a state. Today, many big eyes of many countries are paying close attention to Bangladesh.

She did not allow the country's economy to sink in this global pandemic. The third world has arranged vaccines for the people of the country faster than any other country. Even in the year of Mujib, she did not make the mistake of prioritizing the scourge of the coronavirus. Her foresight and sense of humanity must be nurtured.

Another surviving child of the Father of the Nation, I remember a quote from the Prime Minister's sister Sheikh Rehana (from the book 'Sheikh Hasina under the happy leadership' published in September 2012) ... "Hasu Apa has become the Prime Minister only to realize our father's dream. "As a nation of Bengali heroes, it will have a place of excellence in the world. The responsibility that is on Hasu Apa can be fulfilled even with her life."

That much says a lot. The two, fathers spoke of selfless love for their daughter's country. It speaks of the desire to make the whole country a family even after losing a family.

People's leader Sheikh Hasina's thoughts, philosophy, tireless work, so much work, whatever she says, why should we obey her? Why do I want to understand this? Oh, of course, yes, I know this, why it's something known in advance because the bullet that killed the Father of the Nation was not fired from the hands of any non-Bengali. That blood must be a drop or two in our body.

We will not understand the Prime Minister's tenderness towards the country that is normal. Because we have not learnt to understand. We were not allowed to understand. With great care, day after day, by planning, poison has been spread against the Bangladesh Awami League, against the Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. And now rumors are spreading. The style of this dirty game has changed in digital Bangladesh, the game has not changed.

Powerful people of many countries of the world have turned a blind eye to the economic development and technological advancement of Bangladesh, but what does it matter to us.

We are not surprised, we cannot be surprised. Well, no need to be surprised.

Let's be a little grateful.

Dear Prime Minister, thank you. May you be in good health.
