Sheikh Hasina stresses on accountable world for peace
To live peacefully in this world, there is no alternative to building an accountable world order based on partnership.
Bangladesh is always ready to work with all on the basis of mutual respect and understanding, fully embracing the ideals of peace of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made the remarks at the concluding address of the World Peace Conference on Sunday (December 5) afternoon at Hotel Intercontinental to mark the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of Bangladesh's independence.

We adhere to zero tolerance against militancy and extremism.
The Prime Minister said the Father of the Nation emphasized on forming a neutral alliance to establish peace in the world. Bangabandhu said, We are with those who want peace, be it communists, China or Russia.
Sheikh Hasina further said that Bangabandhu was not only killed but his trial was also abolished by law. Sheikh Hasina said Bangabandhu has said that there is no place for communalism in the soil of Bangladesh.
