BNP is fueling the movement of garment workers: Home Minister
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has commented that BNP is fueling the ongoing movement of garment workers.
The Home Minister made this comment in response to a question from journalists in his office at the Secretariat on Sunday (November 12).
The Home Minister said that the Prime Minister has increased the wages by about 56 percent. That the businessmen of BGMEA sat together and increased the salary as per the advice of our labor ministry. Eight thousand to twelve and a half thousand. This time also increased the amount considerably.
He said, many of them have doubts, many have doubts, like this we hear that second grade, third grade, fourth grade; What will happen to them? Of course, the garment owners ... they will also do business! They will solve all these things. The area to be resolved is not fire. The area to be resolved is not vandalism, not road blocking.
Regarding the vandalism of the factories, he said, we have seen the video footage, almost all of those who are doing it are BNP activists. We have seen that a Kushtia leader came to Konabari and was encouraging and uniting them. So far we have information that these have been captured by our cameras at various places and those whom we have been able to catch are all BNP activists.
He also said that BNP is inciting innocent workers to destabilize the garment sector. Maybe they want to make a system of whether this place can be successful or not by failing in all areas.
