Fire on Benapole Express planned

Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Kh. Mahid Uddin informed that Benapole train fire was planned.
He said this to reporters at Gopi Bagh area around 11:30 pm on Friday (January 5).
Mahid Uddin said that the cause of the fire cannot be said right now. But the sabotage which is clear. It is understood that this has been done by in a planned way.
He said, such inhumane and violence towards common people, passengers, children, women, burning people is not desirable in any way. No man can accept it. Those who have done this will be brought under the law.
When asked whether any kind of fire material was found, he said, now the first task is to bring the fire under control. That the members of the fire service did. Saving lives is their first task. They did that. We have all come including Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), BGB, RAB. Our officers have arrived. Now the fire service department is sweeping in. The investigating officers we have will collect evidence from now on. We will try to find out what caused the fire.
Mahid Uddin said, regarding the arrest, we have foiled all the incidents that the saboteurs wanted to do in the last 15 days because we were prepared. There is no counting how much sabotage we have silently resisted. Because any event can be calculated and there is no account of those who did not allow it to happen. The saboteurs, however, continued their efforts. Many have been arrested and identified. Of their ten or 100 sabotage attempts, one succeeds.
He said that this attempt of sabotage before the hartal is to spread fear among the common people. This sabotage only disrupts the normal life of common people. Burning a living person is planned sabotage.
I saw three major sabotages in a row. But you repeatedly say that there is no possibility of sabotage in intelligence information. In response to such a question, Mahid Uddin said that some crimes are caught immediately, the example of which you have seen. The number of which is more than 40. Those involved in the Gazipur incident have been arrested. The matter of those involved in the airport incident is ongoing. The real mystery needs to be revealed. It may take 15 hours, 15 days or more. When asked whether there is any information about the foreign passenger on the Benapole Express, he said, so far it seems to be sabotage. He did it in the guise of passenger. Foreign passengers are not known. It can be said by the railway police. It is not known if there was a camera in this compartment. However, the railways were requested to install cameras.
