Commenting on the recent events centered on the quota reform movement as a militant act, the Prime Minister said, "The events taking place in Bangladesh are actually not political." It is a completely militant act. The Shibir, Chhatra Dal, BNP-Jamaat were here, they are the militants. These militants have attacked us.

Regarding the anti-discrimination student movement, she said, their intention is now understood that quota is not an issue. One by one, the number of institutions that serve Bangladesh, the number of institutions that improve the quality of life of the people of Bangladesh, is to be destroyed. That is to destroy Bangladesh itself.

The Prime Minister said, today there has been development in Bangladesh, as a result of development, Bangladesh has got a seat of prestige in the world today. When you hear the name of Bangladesh, everyone smiles. Everyone looks with respect. We have been able to bring Bangladesh to an international level, through socio-economic development, through infrastructural development.

Sheikh Hasina said, my parents were killed, everyone knows it. Even then, bringing that pain in the chest, only the fate of the people of this country will change, the people will be a little better. People will have a better life. Internationally, as a nation that won the liberation war, we can stand with our heads high and walk with honor. I have brought that honor to Bangladesh. No one can deny that. Where Bangladesh will go today, if you hear it, you will see it with respect and dignity.
