Port-folios have been distributed among the 17-member interim government headed by Dr. Muhammad Yunus. The chief advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus of the interim government has taken charge of 27 Ministries, including the Ministry of Roads and Bridges.

On Friday (August 9) Cabinet Secretary Mahbub Hossain's signed notification disclosed this information.

The Ministries are - Cabinet Division, Defense Ministry, Armed Forces Division, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Roads and Bridges, Ministry of Food, Ministry of Housing and Public Works, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Textiles and Jute, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Public Administration, Ministry of Power and Energy, Ministry of Shipping, Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, Chattogram Hill Tracts and Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.

Earlier on Thursday an interim government of 17 members was formed headed by Dr. Muhammad Yunus. At Bangabhaban 14 advisers of the interim government took oath at 9:21 pm including Dr. Muhammad Yunus. The president Md. Sahabuddin administered their oath. The three newly appointed advisors could not come to the swearing-in ceremony as they were staying outside Dhaka.
