It is to be noted that Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post of Prime Minister on August 5 and fled to India in the face of the student movement. After that, many government ministers-MPs and influential people went into hiding. There are also reports that some of them have left the country.

After the formation of the Awami League government in the 11th parliamentary elections, the former member of parliament and industrialist Salman Fazlur Rahman alias Salman F Rahman was appointed as the adviser on private industry and investment to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He was retained in the same position even after the 12th parliamentary elections.

On the other hand, in 2014, Anisul Haque was elected as a Member of Parliament of Awami League from Brahmanbaria-4 (Kasba) constituency in the 10th parliamentary elections. The government made him the Law Minister during that period. Since then he held the post of Law Minister.
