Abul Hasan was arrested on Monday (September 16) afternoon.

Superintendent of Police of Cox's Bazar Muhammad Rahmatullah confirmed this to Barta24.com. He said that the former OC Abul Hasan is in the custody of the district police.

Deceased Taim was a XII class student of Narayanganj Government Adamjee Nagar M. W college.

Expressing concern about the issue, the anti-discrimination student movement said, if you look at the development of the Bangladesh state, it can be seen that the struggle of Pir-fakirs also inspired the people of Bengal in the anti-British movement. Now a class of extremists is attacking shrines by helping the religious capital of common people. The statement demanded that these overzealous people be brought under the law and brought to justice.

The anti-discrimination student movement said that Bangladesh should be made habitable for minorities of different religions and should be made peaceful; similarly, this government should also protect the minority Muslim communities who belong to the majority religion of the country, Islam. Otherwise this government will fail miserably in establishing an inclusive society.

The statement said that a class of people is taking the law into their own hands by taking advantage of the delay in the establishment of good governance by the interim government. The media is harassing and misleading people of different classes and professions of the country through trials; Harassing in the field. Expectations from this government, which came to power through the fall of the dictatorial fascist Hasina government, bring structural changes in the country, bring good rule of law and ensure justice for all in the judicial system.

The anti-discrimination student movement said that the Awami fascist regime has destroyed all democratic institutions in the country in the last fifteen years. No one wants to go back to the Bangladesh of oppression and oppression, the way Awami League-Jubo League-Chattra League made the country's law-and-judiciary system a bogeyman through 'moral policing'.

The anti-discrimination student movement said the interim government should become a people's government. This government may enact a Universal and fundamental framework of justice in the state. Through which no one will take the law in their own hands and will be able to create a democratic state system.

Calling on the interim government, the anti-discrimination student movement said that the rule of law should be quickly established in the country and a democratic, egalitarian and humane Bangladesh should be put on the world map. Only then will the blood and sacrifice of the martyrs of the July Uprising gain true dignity.

The Chief Adviser of the interim government Dr. Muhammad Yunus has ordered the police and experts from the country's elite Universities to find a solution to the traffic congestion in the capital Dhaka.

He held a meeting with top officials of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) and traffic system experts of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) at State Guest House Jamuna on Monday (September 16).

In the meeting, the Chief Adviser said, "We have to reduce traffic congestion." A solution should be found immediately.

The meeting asked BUET experts to find some homegrown solutions with the help of their students on at least one traffic corridor. They are asked to fix the signaling system using local expertise. The DMP has also been directed to find some quick and effective solution to the traffic problem.

Professor Moazzem Hossain, Transport and Traffic System Expert of BUET gave a presentation in the meeting. He said that the country loses at least Tk. 40 thousand crore every year due to traffic congestion in Dhaka city alone.

DMP Additional Commissioner (Traffic) Kh. Nazmul Hasan said the traffic situation continued to improve after more traffic police were deployed in recent weeks. Full deployment is expected by the end of next week.

In the meeting Special Assistant to Chief Adviser Lt. General (Retd) Abdul Hafiz, Professor Hadiuzzaman of Civil Engineering Department of BUET and DMP Additional Commissioner Farooq Ahmed also spoke.
