105 children have been killed so far in the July-August revolution, said Adviser on Women and Children Affairs Sharmin S. Murshid. She also said that Tk. 50 thousand will be given to the families of each of the victims.

Sharmin S. Murshid said this in a press conference at the Secretariat on Sunday (October 6) afternoon.

Adviser on Women and Children Affairs said that 1 crore 20 lakh elderly, widows and disabled persons are getting allowances under the social security program. Of these, 43 percent are not eligible for benefits, according to UNICEF. The World Bank has also taken the matter seriously. For this the list will be scrutinized.

Regarding the election, she said, the election was not discussed in the advisory council. Discussions are going on with political parties. She also said that elections will be held after reforms.
