MBBS Admission Test Results Published
The results of the MBBS Admission Test for the academic year 2024-25 have been published. This year, a total of 1, 31,729 candidates participated in the admission test. Of them, 60,095 passed the admission test for government and private medical.
This information was given by Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, Senior Information Officer of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, on Sunday (January 19) afternoon.
Students who applied for the admission test will be able to know the results from the website after the announcement of the MBBS Admission Test results. In addition, information about the results will also be published on the website of the Directorate of Health Education. The results will also be communicated to the mobile phones of the students who passed. The results will be sent to the mobile number provided at the time of application.
There are 110 medical colleges in the country. Of these, 37 are government medical colleges and 67 are private medical colleges. In addition, there is one Armed Forces Medical College and five private Army Medical Colleges. Admission to government medical colleges is based on merit list. And the students who are at the top of the list get admitted to good colleges.
In addition, the notification regarding online application for admission to private medical colleges will be published on January 23.
The MBBS admission test for the 2024-25 academic year of government and private medical colleges was held on Friday (January 17) from 10 am to 11 am. The test was held at multiple venues in 19 centers across the country.
It is learned that 1 lakh 35 thousand 261 applications have been submitted this year. The total number of seats in medical including quota is 5 thousand 380. Accordingly, 25 students have participated in the admission test this year instead of one seat.
