More flights to bring back stranded Bangladeshis from India
Four more special flights have been arranged next week in collaboration with the Bangladesh Mission in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai to repatriate Bangladeshis stranded in India due to the Corona situation.
This has been informed through a notification of the Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi issued on Tuesday (May 5).
According to the notification, Bangladeshi nationals will be able to return home on four flights from Kolkata on May 10, from Delhi on May 14, from Mumbai on May 12 and from Bangalore on May 13-15.
The dates of these flights of Bangladesh Biman may also change slightly, the notification said.
On the other hand, subject to the number of passengers and approval, US-Bangla will operate 5 special flights from Chennai on May 8-10, May 13 and 14. Interested persons are requested to contact.
The Bangladeshi High Commission in Delhi said another 128 Bangladeshi nationals have returned home on Tuesday (May5).
