DNCC Mayor Atiqul thinks differently about the frontline fighters of Covid-19
Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Md. Atiqul Islam has taken a different initiatives to honor the frontline fighters since beginning of corona pandemic.He said DNCC will be by the side of those who are working and will be by the side of those who will work.
On Tuesday (June 2) afternoon, the Mayor inaugurated the murals painted on the two walls of Gulshan -2 DNCC market to pay homage to the frontline fighters. Gratitude was expressed to the Corona Warriors through wall painted murals.
Inaugurating the mural, the Mayor said people from different walks of life have come forward to combat corona. Especially doctors, nurses and other medical workers, government employees, social workers, volunteers and many others are working tirelessly to deal with corona in various ways. These two murals reflect gratitude to them.
He added that the media personnel are making the people aware of corona every moment highlighting various inconsistencies through their words, camera and pen. They have also been featured in the mural as an expression of gratitude to all media personnel. DNCC workers are cleaning and disinfecting the city every day; It is working to increase public awareness, distributing relief among the needy and helpless people. They have also been shown in this mural.
Atiqul Islam said people from all walks of life should come forward to deal with corona. Everyone has to fulfill their responsibilities.
Addressing the city dwellers, he said that they have to handle corona with care. Everyone has to wear a mask. Social distancing must be maintained. This wall painting is a means to make people aware. We have to keep our economy and livelihood running.
