Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah Riyad decided to bat first after winning the toss against Oman in their crucial game of the T20 World Cup at Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Muscat, Oman on Tuesday.

The match is a 'do or die' game for the Tigers who could only keep their Super 12s hope alive if they win the match. A defeat will simply result their exit from the World Cup before their last match against Papua New Guinea.

“Dew is a factor, that has been a consideration, but we will like to post a score on the board,” Mahmudullah said after winning the toss.

He also confirmed the only change that Bangladesh brought up from the previous match against Scotland, which they lost by six runs, with Naim Sheikh replacing Soumya Sarkar.

Oman however is high on confidence following their 10-wicket victory in the first match against Papua New Guinea.

The co-host of the tournament still has made one change bringing up Fayyaz Butt in the place of Khawar Ali.
