The uncertainty that loomed large on the horizon of Bangladesh cricket has gone following withdrawal of strike by the cricketers. Bangladesh Cricket Board(BCB) has shown the magnanimity by accepting all the demands of the crusading cricketers.

On Wednesday the cricketers sat with the BCB directors in a closed door meting with the estranged players at Sher-e- Bangla national cricket stadium. After the meeting all crisis were gone. They announced their return to cricket after getting assurances of acceptance of their demands.

After the meeting BCB president Nazmul Hassan Papon told the pressmen that we have accepted all the demands of the cricketers. The new two demands added today were not duly discussed for want of time. BCB will take decision regarding the demand of the share of profit of BCB would be taken after discussion of the legal adviser committee.

The national cricket league will begin from Saturday delaying for two days caused by the strike. Sakib Al Hassan and gong will start their preparation from Friday(Oct.25) for much anticipated India tour.

The India tour will begin from November 3 through a T20I. The cloud also has gone over this tour.

The new two demands which included share of revenue of BCB and equal facilities of the women cricketers could not be discussed due to want of time. The new demands will be discussed later on. The cricket bosses have accepted all the previous 11-point demands.

Announcing the withdrawal of strike Captain Sakib Al Hassan said,’the discussion was fruitful. BCB president has assured us that he would fulfill all our demands in a quickest possible time. However, as our demands are yet to be fulfilled so I cannot say at the moment that we are happy or not. We would say that we will be happy if most of our demands are met.’

The national cricketers went on strike on Monday with 11- point demands. On Wednesday (Oct.23) the striking cricketers added two more fresh demands. They demanded the share of profit earn by BCB along with transparency in the management of cricket.

The striking cricketers also demanded the due facilities for the women cricketers of the country. They demanded the enhancement of their salary along with male cricketers according to their grade.

The national cricketers assembled in a hotel in Gulshan on Wednesday evening before proceeding to Sher-e- Bangla cricket stadium. Barrister Mustafizur Rahman raised the demands to all.

Mustafizur Rahman earlier also sent the 13- point charter of demands in the form of a memorandum through e-mail and courier to BCB.
