Bangladesh reported 33 more deaths from coronavirus (Covid-19) infection in the last 24 hours raising the death toll to 3471 said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Besides, 2996 tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 263503.
Prof. Dr Nasima Sultana, additional director general of DGHS, came up with the information in an online regular health bulletin about the latest corona situation in the country on Tuesday (11.8.20).
In the last 24 hours, 85 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country tested 14820 samples. So far 1286988 samples were tested, Dr. Nasima Sultana added.
In last 24 hours 1535 patients have recovered making total recovery of 151972 Covid patients.
Bangladesh reported its first croronaviurs case on March 8 while first death on March 18.
