Nineteen more people died from deadly virus corona while 1884 people were infected with the virus in the last 24 hours across the country.
This information was divulged to the media on Friday (December 11) by DGHS through a press release.
According to a press release, the latest deaths and cases of infection have brought the toll to 6986 and 487849 respectively.
The release said that during the time 16323 samples were tested at 140 laboratories across the country making the total test of 2944252 samples. 3866 people have recovered bringing the recovery figure to 414318 so far.
It may be mentioned here that the first case of corona infection was detected in Bangladesh on last March 8 while the first death occurred on March 18.
