President instructs the universities to follow health rules

President Md. Abdul Hamid has instructed the concerned authorities to ensure that proper hygiene is followed in classrooms, dormitories, campuses, offices and all other places for the introduction of physical attendance in the university.

After being closed for a long time due to the corona situation, the university's vice chancellor said the introduction of physical attendance at the university. The President issued the directive when a delegation led by Professor Md. Akhtaruzzaman visited Bangabhaban on Monday (September 27).

Munshi Jalal Uddin, Deputy Press Secretary to the President, said the President and the Chancellor of the University, Md. Abdul Hamid, has directed the university administration to take steps to complete the immunization of all students in a short period of time.

President ordered effective measures, including extra classes, to compensate students for the loss of education due to the corona situation. In that case, Abdul Hamid said, hygiene should be above all.

During the meeting, Vice Chancellor Professor Md. Akhtaruzzaman briefed the President on various aspects of the university.

He informed the President that physical attendance would be started after all the students of the university get at least one dose of vaccine. In this case students will be included in the class activities step by step.

The University delegation briefed the President on the preparations for the commencement of physical attendance at their institution and the overall activities of the University.

The delegation also included Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr. Muhammad Samad, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) Professor ASM Maqsood Kamal and Treasurer Professor Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed.
