The construction work of the third terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport is progressing fast. Therefore, from December 10, for three months, all types of flights will remain closed at Dhaka Airport from 12 night to 8 morning.
Air Vice Marshal M Mofidur Rahman, chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAAB), announced the decision on Wednesday (November 10).
The CAAB chairman said that if an emergency landing was required between 12 night and 8 morning, the flight would be able to land at Sylhet MAG Osmani International Airport.
According to the authorities, from December 10 to March 11, 2022, all domestic and international flights will be suspended at the airport from 12 night to 8 morning.
