A mild cold wave is sweeping over six districts of the country. As a result, people are becoming weak due to the increase in the severity of winter. The winter is especially severe in the north. Shredded and low-income people have suffered the most in a bone-chilling winter.

The meteorological office said a mild cold wave was sweeping over Nilphamari, Panchagarh, Kurigram, Pabna, Naogaon and Chuadanga districts. This cold snap may continue.

The lowest temperature in the country on Tuesday was 9.2 degrees Celsius in Tentulia. In addition, the temperature in several places was between 10 degrees Celsius. Badalgachhi recorded 9.4 degree Celsius, Ishwardi and Chuadanga 9.5 degree Celsius, Srimangal 9.6 degree Celsius and Rajarhat 9.8 degree Celsius till 6 pm yesterday.

According to the weather forecast, the weather will be mainly dry across the country with temporary partly cloudy skies. There may be moderate to heavy fog in some parts of the country from midnight to morning and it may continue till noon in the northwestern part of the country.

In addition, night and day temperatures across the country may remain almost unchanged. The weather may change slightly in the next two days and the night temperature may increase in the extended five days.

The weather forecast further said that most of the sub-continental high pressure zone is located in West Bengal and its adjoining areas. The normal depression of the season is located in the South Bay.
