Vaccination of Qawmi Madrasa students begins today

Vaccination of students of different Qawmi Madrasas of the country including the capital Dhaka will start from today, Sunday. Initially, a target has been set to vaccinate 1 crore 21 lakh people from different sections of the country. Among them, 30 lakh Qawmi Madrasa students across the country will be vaccinated.

The vaccination of Qawmi Madrasa students will be inaugurated at 9 am on Sunday at the women's Qawmi Noorani Hafezia Madrasa adjacent to the Mirpur Stadium gate in the capital. On the first day 1200 students will be vaccinated.

It is learned that vaccination centers have been set up in Qawmi Madrasas of the country including Dhaka. The vaccine will be given by the Health Department as per the list of Madrasa authorities. They will be given Pfizer vaccine.

In this regard, the government's Corona Vaccine Management Taskforce Committee Member Secretary and Director of the Directorate of Health Prof. Dr. Shamsul Haque said that from Sunday, people floating in Dhaka and students of Qawmi Madrasa all over the country including Dhaka will be vaccinated against corona. Other communities that have been left out will also be vaccinated later.

Maulana Syed Anwar Abdullah, Director of Education at the National Qaumi Madrasa Board of Education, told the media that vaccination of our students is starting. Vaccination is starting on Sunday in Dhaka as well as all over the country. Vaccination will start in the vaccination centers of 300 Madrasas.
