Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina held a bilateral meeting with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. This was the first meeting between the two leaders after Sunak assumed office on October 25 last year.
According to related sources, the meeting was held at the Commonwealth Secretariat's Marlborough House in London's Pall mall on Friday (May 5) afternoon.
The Prime Minister was on a bilateral visit to Japan and attended a program marking the 50th anniversary of the World Bank with Bangladesh in Washington DC, USA. He then arrived in London at 11.49pm on May 4 to attend the third leg of the tour to attend the coronation of King Charles III on May 6.
