Finally, the long wait of the people of the southern region is coming to an end. On October 10, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will officially inaugurate the Dhaka-Bhanga railway built on the Padma Bridge. On this day, the Prime Minister will ride the train from Mawa to dream Padma Bridge at Bhanga Junction in Faridpur.
The special train reached Banga railway station at 2.50 pm on Saturday (October 7).
According to sources related to the railways, the special train with 13 coaches and 2 power engines left from Pakshy crossed Faridpur railway station on Friday (October 6) around 12:15 pm. Later, this special train reached Mawa end by crossing Padma Bridge through Banga Junction of Faridpur. The train returned to Bhanga railway station again on Saturday afternoon.
Faridpur Railway Station Master Takdir Hossain said that this special train for carrying the Prime Minister is traveling through the Padma Bridge several times as part of the trial.
