After three and a half hours, the fire at Saeed Grand Center in Uttara Sector 7 of the capital came under control. 24 units of fire service participated in this operation.
This information was confirmed by the official Anisur Rahman on duty in the fire service control room. He said that the fire was brought under control at 4:40 am. However, even if the fire is under control, it will take some time to completely extinguish it. Every floor is being searched. No casualties have been reported so far.
However, initially it was not confirmed from which floor the fire originated.
Rafi Al Farooq, the duty officer of the fire service headquarters, said that the fire had spread up to the 10th floor of the 13-storey Saeed Grand Center. So we had to speed up to bring the fire under control. Turntable Ladder (TTL) is used for fire control in multi-storied buildings.
