BNP Vice Chairman Abdul Awal Mintu's younger son Tajwar M Awal was arrested by the police. He was arrested from his house in Gulshan after 12 o'clock tonight.
Gulshan Police Inspector (Operations) Aminul Islam confirmed the matter.
He said that Tajwar M Awal was arrested in an old case. He has been kept in police custody.
Inspector Aminul Islam could not immediately tell in what case he was arrested.
He said, he cannot say the matter without seeing the documents of the case.
