Krishak Sramik Janata League president Bangbir Quader Siddiqui (Bir Uttam) was defeated by Awami League nominated candidate Anupam Shahjahan in Tangail-8 (Sakhipur-Basail) constituency.
Madaripur-3
The influential leader of Awami League voted with the boat symbol in Madaripur-3 constituency Abdus Sobhan Golap. But at the end of the day he lost to individual candidate of the Eagle symbol Mst Tahmina Begum.

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman Anwar Hossain Manju, who was elected last time with the boat symbol, lost to independent candidate Mohiuddin Maharaj in Pirojpur-2 seat.

Former Jatiya Party leader Mashiur Rahman Ranga was also defeated in Rangpur-1 seat. Awami League leader independent candidate Asaduzzaman won this seat.
